In einer wohl unabsichtlich veröffentlichten Pressemeldung hat Software-Entwickler Bsquare, zur Zeit offiziell mit einer Portierung von Adobe Flash auf Android beschäftigt, angekündigt, dass Dell Netbooks auf Android-Basis auf den Markt bringen wird. Die Pressemeldung ist mittlerweile nicht mehr erreichbar (volle Meldung im weiteren Newstext) und Dell hat die Berichte dementiert. Allerdings spricht vor allem die Zurücknahme der Pressemeldung für einen gewissen Wahrheitsgehalt, man darf also gespannt sein.

Anfang Februar berichtete etwa das Wall Street Journal, dass Dell an einem Android-Smartphone arbeite. Das Netbook könnte eine Art Bindeglied zur aktuellen Produktpalette von Dell darstellen.
